Selling Using Product Reviews

Most people when deciding weather or not to purchase a product usually start with searching it online to find customer reviews. They do this because they want to get a real look at what people actually think of the product. And the information you find in the product reviews are usually different then the advertising only information found on the product description from the supplier.

The power of product reviews is so strong that most companies will allow, more like encourage customers to leave their reviews online with a 1-5 start rating for the product.

So how do you make money from that you ask? I asked myself the same question when I herd people were make money from writing product reviews. The how is the fun part, I learned how on the Wealthy Affiliate platform, I will share some of that with you here.

How I do it…  First I thought of a niche that I am was interested in, this will make writing product reviews more enjoyable. Then I purchased a domain so I had a place to write all my reviews, I host it on Wealthy Affiliate. In case you are wondering about how much that costs… My total cost per year for the WA platform and domain registration is $410 (I pay using a yearly subscription because there is a major cost savings, about 40%). Then I chose a wordpress theme for my site. This process lays the ground work for the site I was about to build… If you don’t want to purchase a domain that is ok, you can create a free siterubix website, and if you wish, host it on WA.

After that I spend a little bit of time setting up my theme the way I like it. Then adding an about me page, privacy page and spending some time planning out some things I want to write about and things I can help my readers with.

Ok back to the review part and how we get paid of course. You can make money off good and bad reviews. The point is to write quality reviews for your readers. And then there is that added bonus of making money from it. Through the certification courses at Wealthy affiliate I learned about the world of affiliate marketing. I use affiliate links in every review I write, good or bad. There are tons of affiliate programs for every niche. Once you tap into that the potential is amazing.
